The Receptionist is responsible for ensuring that we offer a warm and professional welcome to all our guests, first time, on time, every time.
The Receptionist will:
Ensure a consistently high quality of service to all guests
The Receptionist will support other members of the front desk team and draw on previous customer facing experience to achieve service and revenue targets.
An able communicator, the Receptionist must be able to demonstrate their ability to converse with a wide variety of guests and colleagues at all levels, therefore high standards of literacy, numeracy and computer systems are also essential.
The Receptionist must be able to demonstrate their immaculate presentation standards and attention to detail in all that you do.
Duties will include:
Check in and out of guests
Effective reservation & event inquiry handling
Collating guest service feedback
Giving, receiving and handover of information
Accurate billing and posting of revenue
Effective general inquiry handling from guests and colleagues. We would prefer applicants to have a working knowledge of hotsoft or other computerised hotel management system, however training will be provided.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that will suit applicants that are already in a Hotel Reception position or those who have experience in other similar roles/backgrounds that can demonstrate their proven abilities to work in this challenging guest facing environment.
