We have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Administrator looking to gain experience in a fast pace HR generalist office. We have a proven record of the role being a springboard to success in the HR industry with our former employees moving onto great new HR roles in businesses such, G4S and Hilton Hotels.
Yet again, we are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and hard- working individual to join our HR Team to assist with our seasonal recruitment campaigns and induction training. You will join a small team of two and thus you will be exposed to a wide range of HR issues, processes and tasks. This insight will provide strong foundations to a career in HR.
What We Require:
- someone with a minimum of 6 months’ administrative experience in an office based, fast- paced environment
- a confident employee with flair and individuality with an outgoing & friendly personality and a desire to succeed in their career through hard work, loyalty and enthusiasm
- someone who has a methodical and organised approach to their work to undertake a project of recruiting over 100 seasonal employees in a short period of time
- someone who will take pride in their work and never take shortcuts which could reduce the quality of work
- someone who can prioritise their work, taking into consideration importance of each task and the timelines for completing them
- someone who will double check their work to ensure high accuracy, as you will be dealing with contracts of employment and payroll, but who will always meet the deadline
- someone with a mature and confident outlook, excellent communication skills and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- A driver with a full UK driver’s license and their own car
Typical duties will include:
- HR Administration
- To administer starter processes including coordinating, preparing and issuing all Contracts of Employment
- To input all information regarding a new start onto the Time & Attendance System as well as SAGE Payroll System.
- To liaise with new starts and managers regarding staff inductions, including maintaining an attendance record, and arranging necessary induction materials
- To maintain and update electronic and hard copy personnel record systems containing all employment-related information including contracts of employment, new start employment forms, policies.
- To prepare all letters or contracts for any changes to employee terms and conditions e.g. contract extensions.
- To support the implementation of HR systems or databases; to enter data and maintain these accordingly.
- To prepare, as required, management reports on employee-related data to assist with the management and development of staff.
- To handle all initial contact into the HR department, signposting onwards as appropriate.
- To provide general administration support to the HR department as required
- Recruitment, selection and induction
- To provide administrative support to the recruitment process including:
- Placing of advertisements
- Liaising with recruitment agencies
- Managing candidate correspondence including invitations to interview
- Acting as point of contact for any candidate queries during the recruitment and selection process
- Preparation of shortlisting and selection documentation for managers including printing / copying of interview forms
- To undertake all required pre-employment checks, updating and discussing with line manager as appropriate

Office hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm, however you will be expected to work 3 x full days each week to assist with the completion of HR duties and responsibilities. The 3 days will be rota’d each week to suit the needs of the department.
