The Walled Garden Spa has eight treatment rooms, each with its own private garden, offering time-honoured treatments from China, Bali, and Europe, while exceptional heat experiences, including vitality plunge pools, crystal steam rooms, saunas, lifestyle showers and ice fountains comfort and relax. Our glass conservatory featuring healthy cuisines overlooks the outdoor terraces which connects to flowering gardens and a greenhouse creating an environment of fragrance, beauty, and tranquillity.
We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic “Spa Manager Student’s for a work experience opportunity at the prestigious Loch Lomond Golf Club. You should be studying towards your Spa Management qualification and have experienced within the Spa Leisure/Hospitality industry and seeking the opportunity to gain further experience within a progressive Spa environment. You will work closely and carry out duties as a Spa therapists, you will be trained on a wide range of bespoke treatments carried out at Loch Lomond as well as work closely with the Senior Therapist and Senior Receptionist to gain a full knowledge of the all the duties and expectations of the smooth running of the Spa. You will see how the Spa at Loch Lomond thrives on creating fresh, inspirational ideas which not only come from the Senior Spa Manager and her management team but also from our team of Therapists who look to push the boundaries on outstanding customer and client service.
Reporting to the Senior Therapist and Senior Receptionist, the successful candidates will be fully trained on Loch Lomond treatments and will therefore witness firsthand how to develop a capable and confident winning team that actively promotes the spa facilities, treatments, retail products, events and initiatives to achieve success though the consistency of exceptional service.
The successful candidates will also be given the opportunity to meet with the Senior Spa Manager and departments such as Finance, HR , IT and Marketing to better understand how Spa Management are accountable for ensuring all internal, external and corporate marketing activities across the business are planned and implemented in accordance with the Spa business strategy and how to create and implement highly productive leisure strategies in order to deliver results within budgetary frameworks.
