The Friends of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, with support from Scottish Enterprise and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Authority, will host a conference themed on growing sustainable tourism businesses in the national park on Tuesday 13th March in Balloch.

This event will look at a mixture of relevant topics within the context of the next five years of tourism development in the area. This includes the National Park Authority’s Partnership Plan and tourism priorities, growth opportunities within the visitor experience and using sustainability as a driver for progress and visitor satisfaction.

The conference will host several speakers including representatives from the Friends, the National Park Authority and case studies from local and external businesses. Delegates will hear more about how they can plan for the future as well as looking at successful examples from businesses who have utilised the special qualities of the national park to create sustainable tourism experiences.

This conference is part of the Friends’ exciting ecotourism initiative and is open to all tourism-related businesses in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and Clyde Sea Lochs areas.

Cost is £10 per person, which includes lunch. Buy tickets via Eventbrite.
