Food, Tourism and Hospitality Study Trip Outcomes

Towards the end of 2018, a group of food tourism & hospitality professionals from across Scotland  travelled to Ireland to learn about Irish heritage, the flavours of the land and sense of place which combine to make up the area’s special visitor experience.

The group visited a range of businesses, producers and tourism attractions during their stay to share learning experiences with their Irish counterparts.

The UK participants worked collaboratively as part of a group developing Case Studies across the following three main themes:
